I’m so excited to announce another songwriter showcase on the horizon! Come to Fox Wine Co on February 9th for a night of original music and intimate performances. The show starts at 6:00pm but come early for a glass of wine and to get a cozy spot!

The theme of the evening is love and interpretations of it with each artist writing a new song and sharing it for the first time. Feeling lucky to share this space and community; please come support your local businesses and songwriters ❤️ it’ll be a night to remember.

A little about the musicians

Bradberri @bradberrimakesjams
Bradberri is a Santa Barbara indie songwriter with an eclectic mix of songs inspired by jazz, folk, and alternative artists. Her music is sonically ethereal and earnest. She released her album Good Girl in 2021 under Lindsey Marie, toured internationally summer of 2022 and had her festival debut at Wonderfront Festival last November. She has since formed her band Bradberri and released their first single “August” now available on all streaming platforms.

Their debut album is slated for release this fall. This is the third showcase she has put together with the hopes of connecting local musicians and community through original music.

Duncan Wood @duncangwood
Duncan Wood’s music is difficult to place in space and time. At the age of twelve, his first professional experience was playing trumpet in his grandfather’s 40’s-style Big Band; in the same year he began performing James Taylor covers with rapidly-honed finger-style acoustic guitar chops. He has a deep love for his origins in rural Kentucky, but has been molded by his time in California, especially performing Britney Spears and D’Angelo covers with jazz prodigies at Stanford house parties. His arrangements are at once hard-hitting, and meticulously placed to elevate the clever wordplay and captivating storytelling of his songwriting.

Yen Seay @yen_seay
I consider myself and my favorite musicians to be storytellers before anything else. Taking inspiration from raw emotion and translating that into a tangible story in the form of song. The intimacy and candid expression you might see in moments shared around a campfire is an atmosphere I hope to bring to any performance.

Alex Rose @xoalex23
Songwriting is an expression of my deepest emotions and to get to share that with others is a gift! I would classify my sound as R&B, Soul, Jazzy, but with a modern feel. Temporary Muse is my debut project which I am excited to share.

Sophia @luvvvvvsophia
I’m Sophia, a singer songwriter from San Francisco. I usually play with my band Magnetize, but I’m excited to be playing original music for this first solo gig!

Bex Gardner @bexdoesmusic
Over the past three years, Bex Gardner, a self taught musician, has been writing songs in an ever-changing attempt to translate the spark of inspiration into something that can be heard and felt. Her intention is to contribute to the musical conversation that has existed for millennia and will hopefully exist for many more.
