Long weekend demos are back from the EZ Bike Project!
South Coast residents are invited to register to demo one of our EZ Bike Project fleet for a long weekend. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED on the EZBike.org website (click the “Book Now” button to follow check out instructions for your bike of choice). Complete the form to coordinate a pick up with Traffic Solutions / SBCAG at our transit facility parking lot, at 6414 Hollister Avenue.
Participants will reserve a time to pick up their e-bike of choice on Thursday, May 19th. The e-bike is due back on Tuesday, May 24th. Wearing a helmet is required while participating in this program. Participants must have a valid credit card to place a refundable, $200 hold during check out.
Why electric bikes?
E-bikes are fun to ride and they get you “there” quickly. Without the hassle of sweat, you don’t need special clothes; you get easy and free parking; and they are a great way to be green.
Can you make an e-bike your daily driver (commute, transport kids, errands)? Are e-bikes easy to ride? How far do they go?
EZ Bike will help you answer these questions and more!
The EZ Bike Project (EZBike.org) is an e-bike, demo program operated by the SBCAG Traffic Solutions division. It offers free e-bike demos of various brands and models, including cargo bikes, cruisers, city bikes, and folding bikes to local residents and commuters as a measure to reduce traffic and air pollution in Santa Barbara County.
