SPEAKER BIOS:
Dr. Cat Meyer, PsyD, LMFT is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in sex, trauma, and psychedelics. She is also a ceremonialist, kambo facilitator, author, teacher of yoga, and international speaker dedicated to evolving the relationship we have surrounding sexuality and our bodies. As an expert and published researcher on the topic of sex, Dr. Cat sees clients in her private practice office in Beverly Hills and leads workshops, lectures, and retreats internationally. Her clinical work with psychedelics combines her skills + knowledge of trauma, sex, + energy psychology. Dr Cat is the founder of SexLoveYoga.com, an online platform integrating various schools of thought including science, tantric yoga, indigenous ceremony culture, and psychology designed to help people create a deeply fulfilling, prosperous relational and sexual life. Dr. Cat is also the host of the podcast Sex Love Psychedelics.
Mikaela de la Myco comes from a blended ancestry. Her peoples come from the hills of southern Italy, the Caribbean and the deserts and mountains of Mexico. She is a mother, an entheogen educator, a womb care practitioner and acts as a community ceremony facilitator in occupied Kumeyaay territory also known as San Diego, CA. Mikaela serves all people with ancestral healing ways and specializes in serving creatives, families, bleeding people, folks within the birthing continuum and people navigating natural birth control and pregnancy release. She holds seasonal ceremonies where people can journey through the dark amenta to uncover ancestral messages, rewrite trauma wounds and make meaning with mushroom and other earth medicines. Her platform, Mama de la Myco centers the rematriation of entheogens and she creates at the intersection of medicine woman, psychedelic mother and sacred hoe. Mikaela de la Myco has made the commitment to be an instrument of change.
Stephanie Karzon Abrams, MSc believes in pushing the boundaries of innovation in health and wellness, in leveraging the power of education and community, and in implementing creative growth strategies to support access to psychedelics. She is a clinical pharmacologist by education, an entrepreneur, a community builder, and a researcher with an established and evolving interest in psychedelics, neurology, intensive care, cardiology, longevity science, women’s health, and medicinal plants. At the helm of her own consultancy, Stephanie offers support to clinical psychedelic practices as well as functional plant start up ventures. Stephanie is a member of the Psychedelic Medicine Association, Therapsil, and The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. She has obtained and continues to pursue psychedelic science certifications to ensure that she can confidentiality blend clinical excellence and strategic mindset to provide comprehensive guidance and expert advice. Ultimately, Stephanie is motivated to advance the realm of psychedelics through open access education, research, and by supporting initiatives seeking to make a positive impact. She is dedicated to redefining the landscape of health and wellness through innovative approaches and by championing access.
Moderator Kat Walsh (Trip On This Podcast) – Kat Walsh is a podcast host, entrepreneur, ‘trip’ companion, seeker and friend. In 2020, Kat launched her psychedelic podcast Trip On This which features stories of transformation, fascinating characters and provocative topics. Prior to Kat’s awakening journey, life used to be a monotony of routine, endless stress, and a distant dream of a love that felt out of reach. It wasn’t until psychedelics entered the picture did life transform from the ordinary to the extraordinary. When this newfound sense of joy and wonder took hold, a new vibrancy led her down a path of purpose, direction, and fulfillment she never knew possible.
