What does Circular Economy mean to you? Isn’t the Circular Economy just recycling? Is it more about efficiency or effectiveness? And does that even matter?
The Circular Economy has been established as a compelling concept with a clear business case to be applied to the redesign of everyday products and fundamentally new operating models for businesses. In this live conversation, members of the Circularity Summit 2020 team will discuss and debate some the underlying values and topics relevant to the circular economy. Learn why Circular Economy is the trendiest force to increase competitiveness.
The presentation will be focused on ‘closing the loop’ of the life-cycles of products, services, waste, materials, water and energy.
- How much does the circular economy differentiate from sustainability, or the notion of recycling on steroids?
- Is it more about efficiency or effectiveness, and does that even matter?
- Is it better implemented as a top-down or bottom-up approach?
- What does a ‘Cradle to Cradle’ certification tell us in terms of health and safety of a product?
Learn how Circular Economy serves as a framework to develop profitable and socially responsible businesses with positive impacts on the environment and people.
It is an opportunity to discover, learn, establish collaborative networks in the local sustainability ecosystem, and generate new projects and businesses that contribute to develop a sustainable community.
