The Corwin Chair Concert Series is excited to present the piece The Garden of Earthly Delights by Trevor Wishart.
Subtitled “a comic opera” the piece extends Wishart’s interests in transforming vocal material into the realm of narrative, working with writers, and using the voices of actors, as well as vocalists and politicians – of the North American variety.
The piece consists of 7 narrative/musical “threads” which all recur, having undergone various kinds of sonic transformation.
