An evening service intended for rest and contemplation. Compline is led by the Rev. Sarah Thomas. It begins with synthesized ambient music by DJ artist, Andrew Elia, then a transition with loose-leaf brewed herbal tea, and concludes with the opportunity to hear a person share a personal story.
This month’s storyteller is Hannah Kenah. Hannah is a playwright, performer, and devised theatre artist. She has developed work with the Rude Mechs, Salvage Vanguard, New Dramatists, and Yale University, among others. Hannah has performed in national and international tours, including runs at Lincoln Center, Humana Festival, and Yale Repertory Theatre. Her plays have been finalists for a variety of awards. She studied at Dartmouth College, Dell’Arte International, and the University of Texas at Austin. Incense and candlelight are used during the service. Trinity is an LGBTQ+ welcoming and affirming congregation.
