Community Thanksgiving at BGCSB

The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara will host their annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner for Club kids, their families, and the Santa Barbara community. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a free holiday meal served by volunteers and prepared by Chef Jason Banks. Roasted turkey, gravy & mash potatoes, baked ham with apricot glaze, apple sausage stuffing, carrots & yams in brown butter, and corn on the cob topped with spices & cotija cheese, and pumpkin pie will be on the menu.

This event is sponsored by Montecito Bank & Trust and Pat Van Every, with ingredients donated by Jordanos, The Berry Man, Traders Joe’s, and the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.  Gourmet cooked turkeys will also be donated by Lucky’s, Casa Dorinda, The Californian, Belmond El Encanto, Hilton of Santa Barbara and the La Cumbre Country Club. Local dignitaries will be in attendance, Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, Assemblymember Monique Limón and Police Chief Lori Luhnow to name a few.
