Community Land Use Planning in a Changing Climate: The UCSB / IV Area
The Citizens Planning Association will host a series of panel discussions on local land use planning and the expected impacts of climate change. Our second of several events will focus on the UCSB and IV area and will be held on Thursday, November 21, at the Goleta Valley Community Center. Participants include Dr. Charles Lester, Director, Ocean and Coastal Policy Center, UCSB, Garrett Wong, Climate Program Manager, County of Santa Barbara, Dr. Lisa Stratton, Director of Ecosystem Management, UCSB, Mo Lovegreen, Director of Campus Sustainability, UCSB and our moderator, Rachel Couch, Project Manager, Coastal Conservancy Central Coast Program.
Following their presentations, there will be a question/answer session. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the panel will begin at 6:30 pm.
