Please join us as we rally to support the youth of Santa Barbara and those around the world who are demanding action on climate change.
On Friday, Sept. 27 at noon in De la Guerra Plaza, we will urge our leaders to immediately act in defense of the environment. The time to resolve this crisis is extremely short, but the federal government is actually rolling back measures designed to reduce the release of greenhouse gases. Please bring your voices, passion, and your demands!
Schedule for the SB Climate Strike:
● 11:30 am — Arrive early to De La Guerra Plaza to: meet our partner organizations at our tabling event, create protest signs, and partake in collective actions and art projects
● 12:00 pm — The #ClimateStrike officially begins across the Pacific time zone.
● 12:15 pm — The #ClimateStrikeSB rally and the program commences at De La Guerra Plaza
● 1:30 pm — March to Pershing Park (100 Castillo St., Santa Barbara) begins.
(A prior youth rally is scheduled for Sept. 20.)
