SLEEPY BUNNY
Melissa Broughton
Sunday, April 14th at 2pm, Chaucer’s is preparing for the Easter season by celebrating Spring and bunnies with Melissa Broughton as she signs her book, Sleepy Bunny: The Bunny Who Loved Lavender!
Sleepy Bunny is a true story about Amos, a bunny, who ate lavender to help him relax and take naps. When his bunny momma would prepare for the Farmers Market, lavender was everywhere and Amos starting smelling it and even eating it. Lavender is known for its relaxation and sleeping aid benefits. Amos would then have wonderful lavender naps, which gave him more energy to play. This book promotes pet adoption, self-confidence, compassion and companionship, relaxation and napping.
Each book can be paired with a soft, bunny-shaped, lavender-filled sachet for nap time. These little sachet pillows (locally made!) are bunny-shaped, very soft microfiber the same color as Amos. Each one is filled with lavender that Melissa harvested from her lavender farm.
