Folks, we are so pleased to announce our first live in-store book signing since March 2020 when local author Mary Tonetti Dorra comes to read from and sign copies of her book TWO LIVES ON FOUR CONTINENTS on Monday, November 8 at 5 p.m.

Against the sweeping history of the 20th century, two people from different worlds find each other and create a unified life. In Two Lives on Four Continents, readers will travel from Alexandria, Egypt to Washington DC, from NYC to South America. Throughout, they encounter everything from nations experiencing monumental change to the personal discoveries of education, from the cruelties of anti-Semitism and xenophobia to the excitement of the art world. Put simply, this book presents the broad canvas of history in the 20th century, all the while leading its two main characters together, and to love.
Mary Tonetti Dorra has written travel articles for Gourmet Magazine and the New York Times as well as garden articles for HG, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, and currently for Travel and Leisure.
She is the author of Beautiful American Vegetable Gardens, Beautiful American Rose Gardens, and Demeter’s Choice.
Dorra’s newest book, Two Lives on Four Continents a Double Memoir, will be available in bookstores and on Amazon after October 28, 2021.
