CAUSE Action Fund Leadership Awards Reception

Our Annual Leadership Awards Reception will be held on Sunday, May 22nd–in person once again after two long years–and we hope you’ll join us!

Beyond the much-needed heartening joy of gathering in person with movement friends, this is a key opportunity to bring in the funds we need to raise the political voice and grassroots power of immigrants, young people, and working-class communities throughout the Central Coast.

You’ll be joined by fellow supporters of social, environmental, and economic justice and grassroots democracy and will help us honor this year’s Corazón Award recipient: Oxnard Councilmember Gabby Basua–one of our region’s strongest elected champions for housing justice, who led the charge to win the strongest tenant protections of any city between the Bay Area and Los Angeles!

We’ll also be celebrating some of our grassroots leaders who are at the heart of our work–from helping stop the attempted right-wing recall power grab and conducting legislative visits to providing exemplary COVID outreach, tenant organizing, helping redistricting efforts, and more!
