Chef Massimo Falsini
Massimo entered the food world as a 16-year-old. In 1991 he moved to Albano Terme where he spent 3 years with Chef Alfonso Iaccarino at his two Michelin-starred restaurant before moving to “Don Alfonso” in the Aldovrandi Palace Luxury hotel in Rome. The restaurant earned a Michelin star during his tenure. In 2000 Massimo took over as Executive Chef of the legendary Roman restaurant Harry’s Bar and subsequently earned a Michelin star. In 2012 Massimo moved to the US, and following his lifetime commitment to quality and excellence of service he joined Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, leading one of the largest culinary operations in North America. During his tenure he strengthened the relationship with farmers and the local community and has since worked with schools for nutrition education programs and charitable events. In 2017 he took over Solage of the Auberge Resorts Collection in the Napa Valley. In August 2018 Massimo joined Rosewood Hotels and Resort to open the “one of a kind” Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito under incredible praetorship of Rick J. Caruso the visionary Los Angeles developer. In February they opened the doors to their culinary program which includes the one Michelin- starred Caruso’s breathtaking beachfront fine dining restaurant.
Chef Josiah Citrin
Josiah Citrin is a culinary expert and veteran of Los Angeles’s gourmet dining scene, with more than 35 years of experience. He is a two-star Michelin chef and owner of Santa Monica’s highly-acclaimed Mélisse, Citrin, Charcoal Venice, Dear John’s, and Augie’s on Main. After graduating from Santa Monica High School, he worked for three years at fine Parisian restaurants Vivarois and La Poste, gaining an understanding of and respect for the rules of traditional French cooking. He returned to the United States in 1990 and began applying his skills at Los Angeles’ finest restaurants—notably Wolfgang Puck’s celebrated Chinois on Main and then at Granita. After two years, Josiah moved on to join Patina and Pinot Bistro and cooked alongside famed chef and savvy restaurateur Joachim Splichal. In 1999 he debuted Mélisse which opened to critical acclaim and has been impressing the culinary world ever since.
Chef Mattia Agazzi
From Italy to Beverly Hills, far apart but close at heart, Chef Mattia Agazzi brings with him the vision of a new, produce driven, joyful Italian Cuisine. The Bergamo native’s path took him through kitchens of esteemed chefs such as his mentor Massimo Bottura, Joel Robuchon, and Enrico Cerea. He presents a new emotive form of Italian cuisine, interpreted with freedom and respect, drawing on the best and most authentic natural Californian products often sourced at the local farmers markets. Since 2021, he has maintained one Michelin Star at Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills.
