Ho Ho Holidays! Keep the festive spirit going and get some shopping done at the Carpinteria Valley Historical Society and History Museum’s Marketplace scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the museum grounds, 956 Maple Ave.

The wide variety of vendors ensures there’s something for everyone. (C’mon, treat yourself, too.) Choose from food items, antiques, handicrafts, collectibles, furniture, musical instruments, toys, plants, vintage clothing, and so much more.

Felicia “Flea” Brown, owner of A Gift from the Maker, sells decoupage home goods that she creates herself. Her repertoire includes wooden trays, boxes, a variety of home décor, and furniture. “It brings me joy to create items that in turn bring others joy. Often, people look at my creations and say, ‘That’s exactly what I wanted,’ or ‘This is exactly what I need,’ or ‘This will be a perfect gift for… How did you know?’” reported Brown. To contact her, email agiftfromthemaker@gmail.com or visit her on Facebook and Instagram pages at A Gift from the Maker.

Check out Granny’s Attic, the booth operated by the museum, to treasure hunt through the mishmash of linens, kitchenware, dolls, figurines, china, crystal, albums, cameras, arts & crafts, and assorted ephemera. Prices start at 25 cents.

The family friendly Marketplace is free and includes musical entertainment. Hot dogs, cold beverages, and snacks are available for purchase.

For more information, call (805) 684-3112, email info@carpinteriahistoricalmuseum.org, or visit carpinteriahistoricalmuseum.org.

The next Marketplace is scheduled for March 30.
