The California Star Ball Dancesport Championships, celebrating its 63rd year, is the oldest running dancesport competition in North America and a pinnacle event in ballroom dancing. Held at the picturesque Santa Barbara Hilton Beachfront Resort, it offers a stunning blend of rich tradition, world-class talent, and breathtaking scenery.

This prestigious competition features all four ballroom styles: International Latin, International Standard, American Rhythm, and American Smooth. Professional dancers from across the United States and around the globe come to showcase their skills, delivering performances of unparalleled elegance and passion.

The festivities begin on Friday evening with the lively Night Club competitions, followed by the Professional Rising Star Ballroom events that close out the night. On Saturday night, spectators can marvel at all four professional ballroom styles and divisions, an unforgettable highlight of the weekend.

During the day on Saturday and Sunday, the spotlight shines on Pro/Am competitors, as national and local dancers team up with their instructors to vie for top prizes and cash awards. These daytime sessions offer an inspiring mix of skill, determination, and artistry that captivate the audience.
