Botanical Illustration for Older Adults focuses on the specific history and techniques associated with depicting flora. Basic botanical illustration skills are acquired and understood through practice and demonstration. Seeks to coordinate the creative process with the fundamental skill set necessary to make successful paintings in this specific genre. Special emphasis is placed on the social interaction and critical thinking aspects inherent in group studio arts classes for the older adult.
Botanical Illustration: For Older Adults takes place on Tuesday March 15 through May 10. Classes will be held 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
