No prior yoga experience is necessary, all levels and trimesters are welcome!
This series is designed to give you the tools for a more empowered and easeful pregnancy, labor, birth and beyond. Topics we will cover:
- Preparing the body for an easier labor, birth and postpartum recovery.
- Breathing techniques for calming the mind and promoting relaxation.
- Understanding the pelvic floor muscles and their role in pregnancy and childbirth.
- Exercises to strengthen and release tension in the pelvic floor muscles.
- Gentle stretches to relieve common pregnancy discomforts (e.g., back pain, hip tightness, swollen feet).
- Yoga poses for each trimester, focusing on stability and alignment.
- Positions for labor and birth that facilitate comfort and progression.
- Assisted poses and massage techniques for pain relief during labor.
- Visualization and relaxation exercises to reduce fear and anxiety about childbirth and build confidence in the birthing process.
- Mindful movement practices to connect with the baby and the changing body.
- Strategies for managing stress and finding balance during pregnancy.
- Sound healing and yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.
- Creating a safe and supportive community.
