As part of May’s month-long CycleMAYnia celebrations on the South Coast, long-time bicycle tourists Pat and Cat Patterson will share their experiences, cultures, and places visited at a free presentation, “Bicycle Diaries: Twice Around the World”, set for Sat., May 4 from 5 to 6:30 pm at Farrand Hall at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum, located at 2559 Puesta del Sol, in Santa Barbara.
The Pattersons have cycled thousands of miles, with Pat having visited 102 countries and Cat visited 77, totaling more than seven years of their lives while bicycle touring Russia, Tibet, China, Europe and 17 countries in Africa. Their presentation will feature a compilation of their stories with photography.
