CARPINTERIA- Island Brewing Company presents an exhibition by “Plein Air” painters Cathy Winton and Jayne Burton. “A year painting the Carpinteria Estuary.” The exhibition opens Sept. 13 – Nov. 13th. A reception for the artists will Be Sunday, September 26th from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be “Rick and Jenny.” A wood-fired pizza truck, “Tramonto Pizzeria” from noon to 6 p.m.
Winton specializes in vibrant, impressionistic landscape oil paintings.
Burton is known for her bold and colorful acrylic paintings.
