A Discussion with Tom Pazderka about his painting
Hear what this artist with a unique POV has to say about his work.
He’ll describe why he uses ash mixed with oil paint and why he burns the surface of his canvas or board before he starts painting. Why he repeatedly paints voluminous clouds and what the cathedral window that is often present in his work really means to him. He’ll talk about his childhood in the Czech Republic and how his old family images correspond to the contemporary work he does.
