Flutter into the colorful world of entomology and watercolors with the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Explore butterfly lifecycles, taxonomy and anatomy with Butterfly Pavilion Senior Manager Kim Zsembik. Then follow along as artist Hilary George leads a specialized butterfly painting tutorial including wet and dry techniques, wax resist, and more.
In each class in the Art Meets Science series, we brush up on some cool science and then introduce new art media and techniques with a fun interactive workshop. Expand your art skills and science knowledge from the comfort of your own home. Pick up your supplies at the Museum or have them shipped locally.
$20 Members, $30 non-members.
