Join us for our Spring General Meeting – the 1st in a series of 3 General Meetings this year focusing on AI and how it affects the architectural practice. Dinner is included.
General Meeting #1 will focus on data management, collaborative workflows, and scalable knowledge management in the age of AI. The goal of this meeting is to show how AI content generation tools can bring more people from the community into design conversations, how language models can be used to facilitate quality control, and which online tools can support communication, problem solving, and decision making in diverse groups of stakeholders.
Presenter: Luc Deckinga is a Digital Practice Manager for Perkins&Will helping project teams create stunning designs for their clients using cutting-edge computational tools. His areas of expertise include parametric design, robotic fabrication, software development, and how changes in technology impact architectural practice. He lives in the Oakland hills above the San Francisco bay and frequently sneaks into the Sierra Nevada mountains to ride bikes and climb rocks.
