90’s Tribute Band: Flannel 101 at Mercury Lounge

Santa Barbara County’s premiere 90’s Tribute Band, “Flannel 101” returns to The Mercury Lounge for another nostalgic night of  alternative rock favorites such as Nirvana, Red-Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Sublime, No Doubt and Oasis. “Flannel 101” is the brainchild of bassist Rob Cantrell who also founded well-known 80’s Tribute Band, “The Molly Ringwald Project.” Flannel 101 is delightful not only for its intense nostalgia but for the band’s ability to deliver the angst, passion and energy of this great decade of music. With its imminently welcoming environment, the Mercury Lounge continues to feature one of the more diverse clientele in town, drawing its customer base from an eclectic mix of Old Town residents, UCSB faculty, rockabilly scenesters, and anyone with an appreciation for good drinks in a great atmosphere with great local bands.
