The 6th annual Santa Barbara Mural Bike Ride is hosted by Chicano Culture SB and will be happening on Saturday, November 6th at Ortega Park.
Meet up at 1:00 PM & Roll out at 2:00 PM.
We will be starting at the corner of Salsipuedes & Cota St of Ortega Park and then cycle through the Westside and Eastside to visit different mural locations of our community to learn about local history and experience SB culture via bicycle. At each stop, you will meet local artists, business owners, and special guests who will talk about the rich history of our community. The bicycle tour ride is estimated to end around 4:30 PM as we make our way back to Ortega Park.
Also, we will also be honoring the Day of the Dead/Dia de Muertos. Please be thoughtful of the cultural significance of Day of the Dead to those who have lost loved one(s) in the past year or 50 years ago, it’s a special time of the year for many to reflect on life, death, and love.
