10th Annual Flower Empower Virtual Luncheon

In response to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 and to keep the community it loves safe, Dream Foundation will be holding a virtual event open to everyone in place of its 10th Annual Flower Empower Luncheon, with an exclusive film taking viewers into the heart of the program going live on Thursday, June 25th at 11AM PST.

The video showcases Flower Empower’s year-round work, delivering bouquets, chocolates, cookies and hand-made cards to people in need of comfort and cheer from Goleta to Carpinteria, as well as its recent response to COVID-19 that sees selected volunteers delivering flowers to frontline and essential workers in addition to people in care homes and health care settings.

Dream Foundation’s Flower Empower program is a Santa Barbara-based, volunteer-driven program that delivers more than 200 floral bouquets, fresh-baked cookies, fine chocolates, and hand-made cards to people in hospices, cancer centers, and their homes every week. Since its inception in 1994, the program has delivered more than 120,000 bouquets.

To support the program viewers can purchase tickets for an opportunity drawing.

For $25, entrants could win:

Behind-the-Scenes Flower Empower Experience with Flower Empower Coordinator, Valerie Banks. She will host the winner and two friends on one-of-a-kind Flower Empower experience in Rosie the Flower Empower van, complete with a flower pick-up in Carpinteria, coffee and pastry from Dart Coffee, the gift of a Flower Empower apron, greenhouse tours of Westerlay Orchids and Myriad Flowers International, a stroll through Maximum flower fields, an opportunity to pick flowers for your own arrangement with help from a local floral designer, a vase to showcase your masterpiece, and finally lunch at Field + Fort in Summerland.

For $50, entrants could win:
