Pay at Pump

One strategy to end the wars: I would support a $5 “terrorist tax” at the gas pumps to wake people up. Let’s start paying for these occupations now instead of piling the colossal debt onto our national credit card to make people finally feel it. No one has any skin in this treacherous game unless they have a wife, husband, son, daughter, brother, or sister in uniform. There are tens of billions of dollars being added to our national debt every month while too many complacent people are sitting back enjoying their cafe lattes and bitching about LeBron James, oblivious to the blank checks continually given to our entrenched military industrial complex with limited oversight by our sold-out politicians.
