Occupy S.B. Attorney Able to File Amended Complaint

Judge Colleen Sterne put a hold on her denial of Occupy Santa Barbara’s request for an injunction against the city for enforcing ordinances that prohibit use of city parks after 10 p.m., allowing counsel Joe Allen until 3/14 to file an amended complaint. Allen said he will pursue the argument that the city is violating the equal protection clause of the Constitution, explaining that nobody was ticketed or arrested when people camped overnight on city property for the releases of a Twilight film and the iPhone 4S.
