Brutal Attack on Eastside

Little is known about the 10/12 attack on the Eastside that left a male victim in serious condition at Cottage Hospital. Police, who still had the scene taped off late Tuesday morning, received a call just before 1 a.m. of a reported assault in the 1300 block of Punta Gorda. The victim apparently worked at Mi Fiesta Liquor. According to news reports, witnesses saw a group of five or so men attack the victim.
