Garden Court Residents to Hold Cookie Sale for Cat Shelter; Volunteers Needed for Solstice Festivities
• Residents of Garden Court (1116 De la Vina St.) will hold a cookie sale on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, from noon-5 p.m. All proceeds will go to the VIVA Pet Adoption Center, a Lompoc-based nonprofit humane organization. Call 560-7991 for more info.
• Volunteers are needed for next week’s Solstice festivities, including monitors for the parade, T-shirt sellers for the parade route and in Alameda Park, float pushers, and other positions. Contact the volunteer coordinator at 965-5535 for more info or to sign up.
