Tea Fire Info Center Closes This Evening
Public Can Dial General Information at 211

The County of Santa Barbara Tea Fire Call Center information line will close operations on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 5 p.m..
For general information questions, the public can call 211.
For property owners only whose homes were lost or damaged, please call the Tea Fire Local Assistance Center: 805-897-2568 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The County of Santa Barbara and the City of Santa Barbara wish to thank all of the volunteers who staffed the Call Center
The Boil Water Order has been lifted for all residents affected.
The only remaining mandatory evacuation area is Gibraltar Road north of El Cielito Road to East Camino Cielo.
The utility companies are still actively diagnosing and repairing infrastructure within the Gibraltar Road area. Southern California Edison currently estimates this work will be completed by Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 6:00 PM. Once power has been restored and the area is deemed safe, the public will be notified that the area is open to residents.
Also, the county announced that, as a result of the Tea Fire, its Parks Department has closed Cold Springs Trail. Also, Parma Park, Skofield Park, and Rattlesnake Canyon Trail are closed until further notice.
