International Women’s Festival Celebrates Health, Wealth and Soul with American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Luncheon and the annual Women’s Festival join to bring a day of Health, Wealth and Soul to the Santa Barbara, Goleta and central coast women.
Patty DeDominic, co-founder of the Women’s Festivals in 2008, shares, “We are so honored and pleased to be joining with the Go Red For Women event. Health is truly the most important topic for women. Without health, there is no true wealth, and certainly, our innermost soul relies on a healthy body as well to accomplish our purpose in life.”
A dynamic, dedicated team of women lead the festival this year. Stefanie Davis is this year’s Executive Director working together with Tracy Lavery Beard, last year’s Executive Director, and Eve Briere as Event Director.
Stefanie shares, “Our Women’s Festival theme this year of Health, Wealth and Soul reinforces the importance for women to be aware of the leading cause of death for women in California, heart disease. Stroke follows closely as the number 4 cause in Santa Barbara county.”
After the Go Red For Women luncheon, women will be invited to enjoy an afternoon of speakers, championing theme topics, and browse selectively chosen vendors who support the idea of Women’s Health, Wealth and Soul. Doors open from 2:00 to 7:00 on February 8. This year, this one-day will be the “soul” day of the festival.
To stay current on the upcoming announcements of speakers and vendors, visit WomensFestivals.org where you can register to attend for only $25 a person. Go Red For Women luncheon attendees will be able to attend for the included price of their luncheon ticket.
Special VIP tickets to support the Women’s Festival nonprofit partners and help the overall intent of empowering women to be their very best in life will also go on sale soon.
