Montecito Bank and Trust Gives to High Schoolers

Montecito Bank and Trust announced this week that the company — through the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara — is celebrating its 20th year of doling out $150,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors. Recipients are chosen by the Foundation and are invited to a luncheon, hosted by bank Chairman Michael Towbes and others, where the students share their plans for the future. “Hearing the achievements and ambitions of these very bright young adults reminds us all that there is hope carried by this next generation to tackle ever-increasing challenges,” said Towbes.
