Laguna Blanca Lower School Gets New Leader

Laguna Blanca’s Lower School got a new leader this week. As of 7/1, Shayne Horan will be the new head of the Lower School at the Montecito and Santa Barbara-based private school, overseeing the K-4 portion of the school. Horan comes to Laguna after a career smattered with teaching and administrative posts at both public and private schools including, most recently, the headmaster’s job at the Woodland Academy Preparatory School. Horan replaces outgoing Lower School Head Susan Naretto, who has been at the helm since 2004.
