Survival for Who?

After reading the Draft Recovery Plan for the Santa Barbara County Distinct Population Segment of the California Tiger Salamander, I have concerns as to who are these people that come up with such nonsense.

The Draft Recovery Plan is for $46,806 spent for a tiger salamander population that no one knows anything, about according to the report. This seems unrealistic. We, the taxpayers, will be paying for this study. This plan will replace agriculture lands in the North County. What about the population of human taxpayers already struggling to survive? What about the loss of jobs, income, tax base revenue, as well as the private property “bought or seized” to save a very cyclical population of migrating amphibians that may or may not be present? How about coming up with a plan to replace the people that come up with these plans to take our tax dollars and our rights away? Utter nonsense!
