UNLAWFUL LAWMAN:

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department officials arrested one of
their own last week for alleged sexual misconduct with a minor.
Deputy Jon Holm, 31, was taken into custody Friday evening
following a nearly month-long investigation into allegations that
he committed lewd acts with a then-15-year-old girl from northern
Santa Barbara County. Holm, a four-year veteran of the department,
is currently being held in San Luis Obispo County jail on $500,000
bail pending a hearing early next week. According to a department
spokesperson, Holm and the victim appear to have engaged in the
activity “willfully.”
