S.B. Peace Day

To celebrate the UN’s International Day of Peace this Tuesday, September 21, several groups from the S.B. area—including Veterans for Peace, the S.B. Resource Group, and the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (NAPF)—have organized Santa Barbara Peace Day 2010, a local celebration of the global event. The day will feature a screening of The Day After Peace, a documentary film about a man’s effort to instigate a worldwide peace movement, and a talk by Rick Wayman, program director of the NAPF.
