Annual Recognition Luncheon
On February 6, 2014 Community Partners in Caring honored over 60 of the 80 volunteers at the 16th Annual Recognition Luncheon. Butch Abeleo, Darrell Fresse, Rosemary Perry, and Nela Dydell where recognized for their 15 years of service to the community. Founders Marige Halsell and Phyllis Ardoin were in the crowd. Along with Phylene Wiggins, Santa Barbara Foundation, and Linda Wertman, City of Lompoc, and Rosie Nanrez and Alicia Vela, City of Santa Maria.
CPC is a local nonprofit agency serving Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Santa Ynez Valley seniors since 1997. CPC’s mission is to provide seniors with volunteer services allowing them to continue living independently while maintaining their quality of life. Services include door-through-door transportation, yard work, minor home repairs, paper work, respite care, and friendly visits.
