The following rhyme is in response to your article Butterflies and Parking Problems.

This past fall the butterfly preserve was a place I often went to calm my nerves. I visited on different days and times and never were we shuffled through in lines. They say near 1000 cars a day for the season? I only saw five to ten when I went – not teasing.

One time, on a Friday afternoon I saw a bus, and the people did oh so vibrantly discuss how they’d never seen or heard of this before. We likely have many more visitors in store. I think the crowds are still coming. If they knew the true beauty, they’d be running.

So, I support their effort to organize the parking before there is really a cause for snarking. In case I decide to move to that neck of the woods and enjoy that preserve’s bountiful goods. Plus, no matter what, I’ll be back next year to gawk. I value my right to park and butterfly-stalk.
