It’s Time for Recyled Water

There is something confusing about the priorities of the Santa Barbara City water board. Why have they not fast-tracked restarting the recycled water system? I don’t know how many months or years it has been out of service, but according to various articles, it is not scheduled to restart until summer 2015. I assume that means the Montecito Country Club and the Municipal Golf Course as well as the city parks and schools will all be using mostly potable water to keep the grass green. That’s a lot of what should be unnecessary usage.
