What are Chakras? Chakras, meaning “wheel” or “disk” in Sanskrit, are thought to be portals through which the main energetic channels of the body flow.

The chakra system consists of 7 main chakras, although there are over 100 chakras in our body. The chakras are a complex energy system that originated in India and can be found in many yogic and spiritual texts. The chakras communicate with our entire body, directly affecting our emotional and physical health. 

The seven main chakras align on the axis from the base of the spine to the top or crown of the head both front and back of the body. These are the ones we will be focusing on throughout our time together.

The chakras can be a roadmap to the areas in your body that may need attention if you have something happening physically or emotionally. Having an aligned, clear, and balanced chakra system can help bring more peace & harmony to our body, mind, spirit, and life. Our time will end with a chakra meditation to open and balance our 7 main chakras.
