Jazz at the Lobero presents Charles Lloyd Delta Trio, featuring Jason Moran and Marvin Sewell, on Friday, March 14 at 7:30 PM. Celebrating Charles Lloyd’s 87th birthday and his 20th concert at the Lobero, Lloyd brings together a special trio for the first time. The Lobero has welcomed pianist and McArthur genius, Jason Moran several times with Lloyd, but this will be guitarist, Marvin Sewell’s, first appearance here. The three of them share Southern roots and each brings a unique perspective and contribution to America’s indigenous art form, jazz.
