The Santa Barbara Blues Society (SBBS) presents the award-winning Los Angeles band the Delgado Brothers on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Carrillo Recreation Center, 100 E. Carrillo St. in downtown Santa Barbara.
One of the most popular blues bands on the West Coast and renowned nationally, the band won the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in 2016, besting over 150 international blues bands. At the same event guitarist Joey Delgado won the Albert King Award as Best Guitarist. At their last show for the SBBS in March 2017, the dance floor was full and the crowd ecstatic.
Opening act for this show will be Ventura County’s nationally known guitarist Shawn Jones delivering an acoustic set from 7:15-7:45 pm. The Delgado Brothers take the stage at 8:00 pm with two sets and an intermission.
Advance online tickets will be available until midnight on September 20 at https://SBBlues.org, and advance ticket purchasers will be allowed early entry into the show. Tickets will also be obtainable at the door of the show. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Beverages will be available for purchase (cash preferred).
