Producer/host of the PBS series, “Richard Bangs’ Adventures with Purpose,” he founded travel media for MSNBC.com, MSN, Slate, and Yahoo. Richard also led first descents of great rivers around the world, including the Zambezi, Omo, Tekeze, and many more.
