Learn your herbal first aid herbs and create your very own herbal first aid kit!
Join us for a 5-6 hour workshop in the beautiful downtown Ojai learning about some of your favorite herbal friends. Spend the morning meeting the herbs personally at Ojai Chumash Garden. This personal herb tour will be co-led by Lanny Kaufer of Ojai Herb Walks, and Emily Watson, Director of the Artemisia Academy of Herbal Arts & Healing. Learn the local herbs that grow right here in your own backyard for treating bumps, bruises and injuries. Then in the afternoon, join us at Fisher Hall at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church to create your own kit of 5 herbal remedies for herbal first aid. You will learn remedies for scrapes & stings, bumps & bruises, a wound wash, and an herbal bug spray. Finally have a complimentary holistic kit to add to your own regular first aid kit at home to help your family and friends!
