Join us for a community screening of Anxious Nation, a documentary exploring the rise of adolescent anxiety that aims to reduce the stigma and shame surrounding mental health while also providing insight into how we can support adolescents experiencing anxiety.
Following the film we will have an expert panel available for Q&A and discussion. Our panelists include:
Author and director of Anxious Nation, Laura Morton, and her daughter who inspired the film, Sevey Morton.
Dr. Leonie Mattison Ed.D, President and CEO of Pacifica Graduate Institute, a renowned graduate school of clinical psychology, counseling, depth psychology and the humanities. She is also an author of inspirational books focused on transformational trauma recovery.
Dr. Roland Rotz Ph.D, acclaimed licensed psychologist and Director of the Lifespan Development Center, specializing in Anxiety, ADHD, Learning Disabilities trauma and depression. His book, Fidget to Focus is a groundbreaking guide to sensory strategies for living with ADHD.
Dr. Andrea Kulberg Ph.D, an eminent licensed psychologist, focusing on the treatment of anxiety-spectrum problems and the Clinical Director of Anxiety Experts, an outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment facility with clinics in Santa Monica, Ventura, Montecito, and Goleta.
Dr. Melissa Flanigan PsyD, highly experienced clinician and Clinical Director of Mission Harbor, Santa Barbara based treatment facility that provides intensive outpatient treatment of mental health issues, substance abuse issues and impulse control disorders.
