Covering 14 points of interest in a little under 2 hours, your guide will cover the history of lower downtown Santa Barbara (400, 500 and 600 blocks of State St) and the transition of Old Town from 1850 to the present day.  We’ll also cover the events that ushered in the Spanish Colonial style of architecture, make our way over to the historic Brinkerhoff Victorian District and the ghosts of Ogle House and finally, visit three of local architect Jef Shelton’s residential projects, including the famous “Dr. Seuss” house. Optional wine tasting vouchers available for $12; redeemable at Santa Barbara Winery.
