Rally to Support Ukraine: 365 Days Defending Freedom

The Ukrainian community and Santa Barbara activists are holding a rally on February 25th at 12pm at the Courthouse to mark one year of Russia’ full-scale invasion of Ukraine – 365 Days of Defending Freedom. 

From February 24-26, 2023 Ukrainians in over 58 North American cities are going to come together to give thanks for support for our fight for freedom in Ukraine and to bring about our common victory. During this year Ukraine has shown the whole world its capability, its desire for freedom and independence, and its will to build and defend democracy.

At this rally we will share stories of people affected by war; we will hear local officials, politicians and activists on the war and the support needed; and we will thank those who have been helping Ukraine and the Ukrainian people from day one of this terrible war.

Ukrainians are deeply grateful for all the support because we sincerely believe that only together can we overcome this evil.
