World-renowned spiritual and social leader, author, and Benedictine nun, Sister Joan Chittister, will be speaking at Trinity Episcopal Church in Santa Barbara, drawing on the themes in her book, The Time is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage. Pairing scriptural insights with stirring narratives of the truth-tellers that came before us, Joan Chittister offers a compelling vision to combat complacency and to propel all of us toward creating a world of justice, freedom, peace, and empowerment.
Having appeared on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday show to discuss The Time is Now, Sister Joan is a sought-after speaker. With over 60 books and hundreds of articles, her clear voice reaches worldwide.
