This time we invite YOU to be part of the show!
Since it is a Jam Session, it’s the day for all you closet vocalists and musicians (and you know who you are) to strut your stuff and have a great time too. Sunday, August 14, the Santa Barbara Jazz Society is hosting its Annual Summer Party and Jam Session from 1 to 4 at SOhO. It’s always a lot of fun and we have a GREAT house band to back you up…Jeff Elliott on trumpet and piano, Randy Tico on bass, and drummer Kevin Winard…all local jazz legends. Remember, musicians… bring your instruments and vocalists, don’t forget your charts.
Regular admission to the event is $25 for Jazz Society members, $10 for professional jazz musicians and singers and full time students and $35 for non-members. Participating professional jazz musicians and singers will get in FREE that day only. We now accept credit card for added convenience. Doors open at 12:30 and seating is limited, so plan to arrive early. We hope you’ll come and enjoy an old fashioned Jam Session.
