Casa del Herrero has collaborated with an excellent group of California artists to offer a limited time, online-only fine art sale that supports the conservation and restoration of Montecito’s only National Historic Landmark, Casa del Herrero!
This limited time online art sale featuring 100 fine art paintings by 21 local artists has been extended through June 10th!
Your artwork purchase celebrates historic spaces and supports local artists. All sale proceeds are shared equally between the contributing artists and Casa del Herrero.
Some History…
Casa del Herrero, “The House of the Blacksmith”, is a historic house museum and 11-acre garden estate showcasing the splendor of 1920s and 1930s Montecito, California. The original owners, George and Carrie Fox Steedman, worked with their architect George Washington Smith and his colleague Lutah Maria Riggs to create one of the finest examples of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture in America. The estate’s Moorish-style gardens were designed by landscape pioneers Ralph Stevens, Lockwood de Forest and Francis T. Underhill.
Casa del Herrero is included on the National Register of Historic Places and maintains National Historic Landmark status. Casa del Herrero operates as a 501(c)(3) non profit with the mission of preserving and restoring the house, furnishings and gardens for the benefit of the community.

Shipping and handling of purchased artwork is NOT available. Artwork must be picked up by the purchaser from: Casa del Herrero, located at 1387 E. Valley Road, Santa Barbara, California 93108. Contact 805-969-1554, or email casa@casadelherrero.com to arrange pick up of your purchases.
